My favorite thing about staying at The Greenwich hotel is this “secret garden,” aka this private little courtyard. Photo by The Greenwich.

This is the private “Drawing Room” at The Greenwich. Shhh. Celebs love it, but we belong here, too! Photo by The Greenwich.

Is it just me, or can someone turn up the lights in these bathrooms, please?! I’m guessing the lighting designer isn’t a woman who wears make-up. Photo by The Greenwich.

Psst … The Shibui Spa is like a secret underground lair offering yoga, massage, etc. Let’s dive in! You first! Photo by The Greenwich.

NOTE:  if you want a hotel that’s near lots of landmark attractions, you’re better off staying in Midtown. You see, Tribeca is a quirky, under-the-radar hood in Lower (West) Manhattan with lots of airy lofts and dark, celeb-studded hideaways.  It’s a residential “hot spot,” but the neighborhood is a little quirky to navigate. You’ll need to save plenty of time to Uber up to Central Park, Times Square, or Rockefeller Center, although you can walk to SoHo and NoLita and Battery Park easily.
